FORMULARY REV. JULY–AUGUST 2023
← All NICU tools
Verify before clinical use. Nutrient data is loaded from the JDCH NICU Infant Formulary, Revised July/August 2023 — the revision matching the printed sheet in use on the unit. Human milk rows assume a fixed composition; real milk protein varies roughly four-fold between mothers, so calculated protein is an estimate against a population average rather than a measurement. Targets default to ESPGHAN 2022 and are editable — set them to your institutional standard.

Enteral feeds add a row per product

Additives doses per day

Supplements mL per day

Minerals and trace elements are listed as elemental content per mL; electrolytes are labelled in mEq/mL and converted internally. Confirm every strength against your pharmacy's preparation — zinc sulfate 220 mg supplies only 50 mg elemental zinc, and entering salt weight where elemental is expected overstates delivery roughly four-fold.
